Private viewing of the all new CULLINAN and a special presentation by Sally Ryder
It was a privilege to be invited as a guest speaker at the private viewing of the all new ROLLS ROYCE CULLINAN.
DIAMONDS AS AN INVESTMENT
Sally gave a small group of VIPs an insiders look into what it takes to acquire diamonds as an investment. We also gave a little history lesson on the famous Cullinan diamond, the world's largest piece of rough ever discovered at 3106.75ct from which two of the largest stones cut are today part of the Crown Jewels. Information was shared about the key qualities that make a diamond "investment grade worthy" and how such a stone should be procured. Via one of our family diamond partners, regarded for cutting the world's most precious diamonds, we presented 3 magnificent stones for observation and discussion.
THE STONES
We had the special treat of being able to view a 1.98ct Fancy Intense Blue diamond -pictured above inside the Cullinan. Not only is this a very rare blue diamond but it was also unearthed by the same mining company that discovered the famous Cullinan diamond in 1905.
- 1.95ct Round Brilliant Fancy Intense Blue IF diamond (US$2.6m)
- A pair of 10.5ct EIF Emerald cut diamonds from the same piece of rough (US$1.7m)
- 15.02ct Heart Shaped Fancy Intense Yellow diamond (US$500k)
