Australia Trip - May 2018
At the beginning of May Katie and I did a multi-city tour of Australia, seeing lots of friends and making new ones along the way. Being headquartered in Hong Kong, a diamond epicentre of the world, allows us access to a pool of diamonds that just aren't available in the local Australian market. The relationships we've built over the past decade with the world's best cutters of all shapes and qualities of diamonds now provides our Australian client's with choices of the world's best.
Our research in Australia proved that our competitive advantage is not only in the price that we can provide in comparison to sellers both on and off the high street, but more so in the high standard of quality craftsmanship, experience in choosing top grade diamonds and expertise in designing fine jewellery. We were so pleased to know that you guys loved our work!
Here's a little snapshot of our recent itinerary:
Gold Coast:
Our first stop was the Gold Coast where Catherine O'Sullivan invited us to her beautiful home with views looking out over Surfers Paradise to do a diamond Master Class. We taught our guests about the most important characteristics that provide the most impact on beauty and those that should be compromised that don't effect beauty, but drastically effect price, thereby providing a stunning diamond that's great value for money. Our guests were wow'd about how such small differences in quality can have such a dramatic effect on price.
Brisbane:
In Brissy, we had a fun party at my mum's house in Ascot. Emma Timms @emanti invited some girlfriends who just happen to be big on the social media scene. Em's friend Katie Stevens runs a network called @minding.her.business a platform that inspires and motivates women in business. A woman after my own heart! Lovely to meet you @misskatiestevens. Great to also see some of our wonderful loyal supporters there too - Jan Goakes, Wendy Brown, Gayle Havig, Karen Maxwell...just to name a few! Thanks mum for putting on a great spread and to Katie's mum Susie for the sensational sausage rolls and to Cheryl Elliot for the veggie puffs. Yum!
Sydney:
Sydney was a whirlwind of family gatherings, client meetings, mystery shopping and fabulous friend lunches. Special thanks to Meg Kerwick @ppmegsy who has helped us tremendously with our branding strategy and organising a gathering of fabulous ladies to entertain in Double Bay.
